Participate in a Research Study on the Impact of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on Physical Therapists’ Well-being and Psychological Flexibility
You are invited to participate in a research study on the impact of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on physical therapists’ well-being and psychological flexibility.
This study has been approved by Widener University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB protocol #59-21).
As a pain practitioner, you know that a biomedical approach alone often fails to effectively treat all chronic pain symptoms. This has led to widespread acceptance and adoption of the biopsychosocial model of care.
ACT is a proven intervention that utilizes psychologically-informed treatment for chronic pain. With the knowledge you gain from participating in this study, you’ll be able to implement proven ACT principles and techniques to help treat your patients with chronic pain and improve their outcomes.
